Their elegant celebration features touches of Tuscan style, with native blooms, white lanterns floating above and lovely, long table dining – perfect for a feast under the stars.

“Organising family and having to leave people out that you love because of budget was my least favourite. Many politics come with a wedding! My favourite was making the vision come together – it was just how we imagined and worth every bit of stress!”
The Dress Search
“I loved it. There were so many styles that could have worked. I almost cancelled my appointment where I ended up finding the one! As soon as I put it on I knew, which is so cliché but true…I loved the lace detail of leaves which worked with our outdoor setting. I wanted something that wasn’t rustic, but elegant and made a statement.”
Ceremony Styling
“Simple in white and gold, with lanterns in the trees and gold Tiffany chairs on the grass set with white cushions.”
Favourite Moments
“The aisle moment and seeing my fiancé cry for the first time. Having those private moments amongst the craziness of photo taking and guest kissing – it’s important to take a moment and appreciate the day. You can certainly get lost in the day otherwise.”
Entertaining Guests
“I wrote a list of venues around the valley for our guests to visit, wine and dine at while we were taking our photos.”
Bridesmaid Styling
“I wanted the girls in white. I went to the ballet when I was engaged and fell in love with the long tulle skirts, so I created a modern day version of the ballerina look.”
Reception Styling
“We kept this simple too, with one giant table down the centre of our driveway. A green foliage runner tied in beautifully with the outdoor backdrop. We styled it just like an elegant dining table with white china, gold cutlery and linen napkins with our initials embroidered in gold. The name cards were hand written and I drew individual leaves to tie back to our centrepiece.”
DIY Projects
“We made ourselves a bar and I did all the graphics and stationery as I run my own wedding stationery business, so there were high expectations – mostly on myself!”
Best Advice
1. Keep it all in perspective – you’re getting married because you love each other.
2. Don’t go all bridezilla on your bridesmaids, be kind and love them, you chose them for a reason.
3. Don’t put any expectations on how you should feel, it’s an overwhelming day and a blur! Just try to be in the moment.
