Perth based wedding photographer Trish Woodford believes in story driven photography, capturing authentic, heartfelt moments and crafting them into beautiful galleries you can keep forever! With her ability to catch the precious in-between moments, you’ll be able to look back and remember not only what your day looked like, but how it felt.
How would you describe your photography style?
As a blend of contemporary, candid and fine art. It has a light and airy feel with true-to-life colour tones that won’t date, combined with an occasional dramatic creative silhouette or flash-lit portrait.
What’s the most valuable photography lesson you’ve learned?
To be prepared for any ‘curve ball’. All of my cameras have instant backup capabilities!
What’s one of the most important things you bring to the table?
My photographer ‘eye’ – how I see and anticipate special moments through the lens. I’ve also been known to help button and fluff a dress or two!
- Have an engagement session with your photographer. It’s a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera.
- Allocate the maximum amount of time possible for your photos between the ceremony and reception so that this can be a relaxing, fun part of the wedding day rather than rushed.
- Let your photographer know if there is anything out of the ordinary happening or special circumstances with family members, so they can be on the look out for them.
