Gorgeous Gowns & Dashing Grooms

Amy Elsworth of Chic Vintage Brides – “First of all, the photographer is one of my all-time favourites! Secondly, how stylish are Sonia and Jules? I love Sonia’s tea length dress, but its Jules’s unique outfit that really got me cheering (I love when a groom pushes the style boundaries). Thirdly, a high tea reception is the closest thing to perfection I can think of. And last but not least, their row boat getaway is just SO ridiculously fabulous!”

Sonia Collett of Want That Wedding – “I’m loving that brides and grooms are just really going for it and bringing their own style and tastes into their big day. I particularly adore this bride’s style (that shoulder necklace!) and I’m loving her maids in jumpsuits. So unique!”

Victoria Deardorff of Burgh Brides – “This was my favorite for a few reasons: 1) Hellooooo a black Vera Wang? Amazing! 2) The bridal portraits are stunning, and 3) they weren’t afraid to do exactly what reflected them as a couple. A wedding that is truly “you” is my absolute favorite!”

Shafonne Myers of Pretty Pear Bride – “I love that our brides are really starting to embrace that not all plus size and curvy brides have to wear A-line or ball gown dresses. There are so many other styles out there that look just as good, if not better – this is definitely one of my favorites!”

Meaningful Moments

Dorothy Polka of Polka Dot Bride – “This year I loved couples using gorgeous greenery in their wedding decor, unexpected venues, wedding dresses that push the boundaries, the glamour of black tie celebrations, wedding festivals and three day weekend weddings! I also adored this couple’s blind fold pre-wedding prayer.”

Karen Cinnamon of Smashing the Glass – “I’m slightly obsessed with this wedding for several reasons. Mainly because the couple came down the aisle on a unicorn (yes really!) whilst Joss Stone sung at their ceremony, and John Legend played at their party! But more than anything, these two bucked convention and created the wedding of their dreams, and it’s fair to say that this wedding was totally and UTTERLY unique to them.”

Olivia Tinsley of Northwed – “Daniel and Carissa’s wedding was my favorite of the year because of the undeniable joy that the day brought. It was a beautiful September wedding that focused on what truly mattered: their love story and the incorporation of family and friends. From siblings standing up at the altar, to the sweet narrative the groom wrote for their wedding website, it’s impossible not to smile as you look back at their celebration.”
