After a long distance romance and interstate move to be together, Tyson and Elise planned their romantic beach wedding in just six months! With a soft neutral palette and clever DIY details, this relaxed couple have some incredible moments captured and great ideas to share!
The Planning Experience
“I enjoyed the excitement of planning a wedding and the countdown! With the short timeframe I had to be organized – arranging everything from a different state was hard at times, so that’s probably what we enjoyed least! It was most important that our families could all be there and our grandparents in wheelchairs could access the property okay!”
The Dress
“My wedding dress search experience was wonderful! I found ‘The One’ at the first place I went to and purchased it the same day, as well as my bridesmaid dresses!”
Bridal Party Styling
“I had input from my bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as Tyson. I loved the white dresses for the girls and as long as they were comfortable in them I was happy!”
The Decor
“Most of the decorations at the reception and ceremony were DIY and were all in naturals and neutrals with lots of wood! Our arch, benches, signing table, signs, cake table and name tag holders were all made by my father.”
Best Advice
“Keep it simple – you don’t need to over-spend to have a beautiful wedding, just relax and enjoy!”
