Calling all lovers of timeless style! Jaimi and Alex’s modern black tie wedding has all the suave sophistication of days gone by. A clever backdrop illuminated by festoons does double duty for the ceremony and reception, and paired with bursts of burgundy blooms and a well styled bridal party, this couple had a beautiful day to remember!
The Planning Experience
“It was rather stressful but also super exciting! No matter how organised you think you are, it’s always a mad rush to get everything in place. I enjoyed dress shopping, food tasting and choosing the playlist – and the hen’s night of course! Figuring out the seating chart was least favourite!”
“Walking down the aisle was the happiest moment of my life! Spending the day laughing and drinking champagne with the bridesmaids before the wedding was also one of the highlights!”
Grand Jubilee, Zen and cream garden roses, spray roses in antique cream, blush pink and dark red, berries, amaranthus, pepper corn foliage and Queen Anne’s Lace.
Finding the Dress
“The search was interesting as I had my mum, sister and best friend with me, all of whom have extremely different tastes! I knew it was ‘the one’ when they all gasped – they all loved it!”
“My stepmum did all the styling and she’s incredible! The main feature for our ceremony and bridal table was a large backdrop constructed out of industrial mesh fencing, which was painted white and draped with lots of lush greens and cream flowers.”
1. Enjoy the day – it goes so fast!
2. Try not to let the little things stress you out.
3. Remember what the purpose of the day is – to be married to the love of your life. Everything else is only half as important.
